made after pericardiocentesis, there<br />

is a soft-tissue density (arrow) in the<br />

cranial mediastinum extending anterior<br />

to the heart base on the lateral<br />

view. However, there is little abnormality<br />

seen on the ventrodorsal view,<br />

limiting the likelihood of right atrial<br />

or main pulmonary trunk enlargement.<br />

Diagnosis: Cranial paracardiac<br />

mass consistent with aortic<br />

body tumor.<br />
