Command Line Reference System Management Commands 6-22 Example This sets daylight savings time to be used from March 31st to October 31st. HP420(config)#sntp-server daylight-saving Enter Daylight saving from which month: 3 and which day: 31 Enter Daylight saving end to which month: 10 and which day: 31 HP420(config)# sntp-server timezone This command sets the time zone for the access point’s internal clock. Syntax sntp-server timezone hours - Number of hours before/after UTC. (Range: -12 to +12 hours) Default Setting None Command Mode Global Configuration Command Usage This command sets the local time zone relative to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, formerly Greenwich Mean Time or GMT), based on the earth’s prime meridian, zero degrees longitude. To display a time corresponding to your local time, you must indicate the number of hours and minutes your time zone is east (before) or west (after) of UTC. Example HP420(config)#sntp-server timezone +8 HP420(config)#
