• Be careful about suggesting that the regions are in violation of the law or NCP.<br />

• The permit issue needs to be flushed out more.<br />

• Case study examples could have been used to answer the question and answer session questions.<br />

• Answers at the end should not have been provided immediately in order to initiate discussion.<br />

• Add a section that clarifies what authorities an <strong>OSC</strong> responds under, the NCP or Stafford Act, and<br />

if the authority makes a difference. This topic has created many questions and has not been<br />

resolved.<br />

Comments on instructional methods and materials<br />

• All instructors were fantastic! (Nine responses)<br />

• Paul is a fantastic instructor who speaks clearly and is enthusiastic and engaging. (Five<br />

responses)<br />

• I enjoyed the tactfulness of the instructors when presenting the information.<br />

• Handouts and question and answer/frequently asked questions are a great way of presenting the<br />

• Good to put law log, etc. in one place.<br />

• Excellent to have updated copies of laws and regulations.<br />

• Paul drove home the point to read the regulations.<br />

• Sections should be divided with more breaks to help students absorb the information. (Three<br />

• Binder is missing State Requirements - Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation,<br />
