• The materials are good and very well prepared. (Two responses)<br />

• Always need a refresher for contracts.<br />

• Know that your audience is <strong>OSC</strong>s and direct presentation to them. Present a separate session for<br />

those that support <strong>OSC</strong>s and then go into more detail.<br />

• Red text in PowerPoint is difficult to see.<br />

• Get a regional contracting officer (CO) to discuss emergency response contract strategies.<br />

• Needed better time management on section covering national initiatives.<br />

• More time should be scheduled for questions. (Three responses)<br />

• Class could be an 8 hour acquisition process course.<br />

• Include PowerPoint slides from RCMS section in course materials.<br />

• Handout on the “Expanding the Industry Base” Blanket Purchase Agreement areas of expertise<br />

should be full page or separate handout.<br />

• Many national level issues unresolved. These issues need to be resolved by management prior to<br />

next year’s training. The contracting world and the <strong>OSC</strong> operational world still have significant<br />

culture differences. Regions need to be mandated to invest full-time employees (FTE) in the field<br />

accountant position to facilitate bridging this gap!<br />

Comments on course name and abstract expectations<br />

• Very applicable.<br />

• It was accurate.<br />

• This has nothing to do with emergency response contracts. I was expecting an intense version of<br />

warrant training contract mechanisms.<br />

Comments on recommending course to colleagues<br />

• Yes, but course needs modification.<br />

• Would recommend for <strong>OSC</strong>s only.<br />

• Yes, helpful to have <strong>OSC</strong>s and support <strong>OSC</strong>s in the room to hear these issues.<br />

• Yes, because we need acquisition training.<br />

• Yes, because it had some useful information and provides 4 credits for contract training. (Four<br />

responses)<br />

• Would recommend only for a new <strong>OSC</strong> or for RSC who was unfamiliar with the ERRS and<br />

START contracts.<br />
