Comments on course content
• Great job! Summarized an event and identified gaps.
• Enjoyed case studies, please add more. (Two responses)
• Anthrax case was helpful.
• I would be interested in a disposal study on Katrina.
• Course was too basic.
• For the Disposal Decision Making class — there was an awful lot of information on
decontamination and not on disposal. It repeated information provided in two other courses.
Comments on instructional methods and materials
• Excellent job done by presenters. (Three responses)
• This course is a great follow-up to the Avian Influenza course, specifically disposal.
• Nice panel discussion.
• Good, short talks.
• There could be more visual aides/slides/short videos to carry out message.
• Many slides were difficult to read: too much text; poor color choices. (Two responses)
• Presentations were not well coordinated. Content was too redundant among speakers. (Three

• Dry material presented in an even drier manner.

• I had no idea that this was a biology related course...but it was interesting anyways.
• Title did not indicate that the course would consider disposal of biological-waste only. (Two

• Be clearer about the fact that concentration of materials in the event of an INS — changes the
course completely.
