Chapter 7: <strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong> <strong>Code</strong><br />

human beings that substantially and unreasonably interferes with the use and enjoyment<br />

<strong>of</strong> adjacent property or interferes with public peace and comfort.<br />

i. A home occupation does not store outside <strong>of</strong> the dwelling unit any equipment or<br />

materials used in the home occupation.<br />

j. The home occupation may be located in an accessory building on the property.<br />

k. A home occupation shall be totally contained within a structure(s) and shall be<br />

secondary to primary use <strong>of</strong> residential. The floor area devoted to a home occupation<br />

shall not exceed fifty (50) percent <strong>of</strong> the floor area <strong>of</strong> the primary structure or 1000 square<br />

feet, whichever is less.<br />

l. No retail sales may occur on the premises unless by appointment. The home<br />

occupation shall be a service, contractor or similar businesses whose customers are by<br />

appointment only.<br />

m. There shall be no storage on site <strong>of</strong> dangerous, toxic, combustible or hazardous<br />

materials.<br />

n. At least one additional <strong>of</strong>f-street parking space shall be provided for the nonresident<br />

employee.<br />

o. The use shall not cause <strong>of</strong>f-site impacts on the surrounding neighborhood due to<br />

traffic and deliveries.<br />

p. The operator <strong>of</strong> a home occupation may apply to the <strong>Town</strong> Board for special or<br />

temporary outside or other types <strong>of</strong> activities that may cause <strong>of</strong>f-site noise impacts no<br />

more than two (2) times per calendar year.<br />

(6) Mobile home park or subdivision. Mobile home parks and mobile home subdivisions<br />

shall be subject to the following requirements. Mobile Home Parks shall be reviewed<br />

according the procedures and standards included in Sec. 6.10, Conditional <strong>Use</strong>s and<br />

according to the standards listed in Sec. 3.05 (d) (19). Mobile Home Subdivisions shall be<br />

reviewed according to the procedures in Sec. 6.04, 6.05, 6.05A, 6.05B, 6.06, 6.07, 6.08<br />

and 6.09 and according to the standards included in Sec. 3.05 (d) (19).<br />

a. Existing mobile home parks or mobile home subdivisions shall not be enlarged,<br />

expanded or additional mobile homes permitted unless the same shall be brought into<br />

compliance with the standards <strong>of</strong> this subsection and the area regulations <strong>of</strong> section 3.09,<br />

MH, Mobile Home District regulations.<br />

b. Individual mobile homes in mobile home parks or mobile home subdivisions shall<br />

not be replaced unless the individual mobile home site is in compliance with the<br />

standards <strong>of</strong> this subsection and the area regulations <strong>of</strong> section 3.09, MH, Mobile Home<br />
