Chapter 7:<strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong> <strong>Code</strong><br />
§ 3.11 I, Industrial District<br />
(a) Purpose and intent. The I, Industrial District is designed primarily to accommodate a<br />
wide variety <strong>of</strong> repair/service and light industrial uses. It is intended for application in areas<br />
designated "Light Industrial" on the "Future <strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong>" map <strong>of</strong> the Comprehensive Plan. In<br />
addition to the use and area regulations <strong>of</strong> this section, development in the I, Industrial District<br />
shall be in compliance with Sec. 5.05, <strong>Land</strong>scaping and Screening, and all other applicable<br />
provisions <strong>of</strong> this chapter.<br />
(b) Permitted uses. The following uses shall be permitted in the I, Industrial District,<br />
subject to compliance with any applicable conditions and all other provisions <strong>of</strong> this chapter.<br />
Accessory use or structure, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(1)<br />
Animal pound or kennel (public or private)<br />
Auto parts and accessory sales (indoors)<br />
Auto leasing or rental<br />
Auto repair garage<br />
Auto parts and sales (outdoor display)<br />

Bank or savings and loan<br />
Building materials sales and yard<br />
Bus or intercept lot<br />
Cabinet and upholstery shop<br />
Campground<br />
Car wash<br />
Caretaker or guard residence<br />
Church or place <strong>of</strong> worship<br />
Cleaning or laundry plant<br />
Convenience store<br />
Custom personal services<br />
Day care center<br />
Day care home<br />
Day camp for children<br />

Fraternal club or lodge<br />
