Chapter 7: <strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong> <strong>Code</strong><br />
(9) Multi-family dwelling. Multi-family dwellings are permitted in the B-1, Business District<br />
only in conjunction with, attached to, and under the same ro<strong>of</strong> as a permitted non-residential<br />
use(s).<br />
(10) Utility structures and facilities (above ground). Above ground utility structures and<br />
facilities, shall be comply with the requirements <strong>of</strong> Sec. 5.05, <strong>Land</strong>scaping and Screening.<br />
(11) Recreational Vehicle/Travel Trailer Park and Campground. A recreational vehicle/travel<br />
trailer park, campground and incidental facilities shall comply with the standards in this section.<br />
a. Such areas may be occupied only by persons using travel trailers, truck campers<br />
and tents for overnight and short duration camping (30 consecutive days<br />
maximum or a total <strong>of</strong> 30 days within any 120 day period);<br />
b. Each space for travel trailers, truck campers and tents shall be at least 1500 sq. ft.<br />
in area;<br />
c. Each space shall be at least 30 ft. in width;<br />
d. Each park or camping area shall connect be served by the <strong>Norwood</strong> Water<br />
Commission and the <strong>Norwood</strong> <strong>San</strong>itation District;<br />
e. No dependent travel trailer, truck camper or tent shall be located more than 200 ft.<br />
from a water and sewage service building; and<br />
f. Provisions shall be made for adequate all-weather parking and walkways to each<br />
space.<br />
g. No park or campground shall be used for long term housing (stays <strong>of</strong> longer than<br />
30 consecutive days or a total <strong>of</strong> 30 days within any 120-day period).<br />
h. Parks and campgrounds shall be landscaped and screened from adjacent roadways<br />
and residential land uses.<br />
i. The minimum setback from a residential use may be increased and the <strong>Town</strong> may<br />
apply the screening and landscaping standards included in Sec. 5.05 as necessary<br />
as part <strong>of</strong> a conditional use review outlined in Sec. 6.10.<br />
j. Recreational vehicle/travel trailer parks shall not exceed 2 acres.<br />
k. Convenience establishments may be permitted as an accessory use subject to the<br />
following restrictions:<br />
i. such establishment shall be restricted in their uses to occupants <strong>of</strong> the<br />
park.<br />
ii. such establishment shall present no visible evidence from any street<br />
