Chapter 7: <strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong> <strong>Code</strong><br />

§ 3.09 MH, Mobile Home District<br />

(a) Purpose and intent. The MH, Mobile Home District is designed primarily to<br />

accommodate mobile home parks and mobile home subdivisions. It is intended for application in<br />

areas currently being used for mobile home parks and for selective application in the future to<br />

areas designated "Res. P-1 or Res. P-2" on the "Future <strong>Land</strong> <strong>Use</strong>" map <strong>of</strong> the Comprehensive<br />

Plan. In addition to the use and area regulations <strong>of</strong> this section, development in the MH, Mobile<br />

Home District shall be in compliance with all other applicable provisions <strong>of</strong> this chapter.<br />

(b) Permitted uses. The following uses shall be permitted in the MH, Mobile Home<br />

District, subject to compliance with any applicable conditions and all other provisions <strong>of</strong> this<br />

chapter.<br />

Accessory use or structure, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(1)<br />

Church or place <strong>of</strong> worship<br />

Day care home<br />

Double-wide manufactured/ mobile home, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(12)<br />

Essential services<br />

Fire station<br />

Gas line and regulating station<br />

Home occupation, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(5)<br />

Mobile home park, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(6)<br />

Mobile home subdivision, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(6)<br />

Park<br />

Sewage pump station<br />

Single-family dwelling<br />

Water treatment, storage or pump station<br />

(c) Conditional uses. The following uses shall be permitted in the MH, Mobile Home<br />

District only upon approval <strong>of</strong> a Conditional use permit by the Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees in accordance<br />

with the procedures and standards <strong>of</strong> Sec. 6.10, Conditional use permits.<br />

Community center, subject to Sec. 3.05 (d) (18)<br />

Day camp for children<br />

Day care center<br />

Electrical substation, high voltage<br />

Gas line and regulating station<br />

(d) Temporary uses. The following uses shall be permitted in the MH, Mobile Home<br />

District only upon approval <strong>of</strong> a temporary use permit in accordance with the procedures and<br />

standards <strong>of</strong> Sec. 6.17, Temporary use permits.<br />

Asphalt/concrete batch plant, temporary, subject to Sec. 3.05(d)(3)<br />

Building material yard/construction <strong>of</strong>fice, temporary<br />

Field <strong>of</strong>fice, temporary<br />
