(1.5 meters in diameter) tunneled parallel to each other through dirt fill of a broad suburban highway. 100
meters away from the scene the participants were told to put on black opaque goggles so that they had to
walk hand-in-hand with organizers. Then they were seated on small folding chairs inside the pipes, facing
remote exit holes sealed with black paper screens. The goggles were removed and the participants
received instructions that prompted them to move forward. As soon as both had started (simultaneously
and each inside his pipe), entrance holes were also sealed with black paper screens, so the participants had
to move in thick darkness. The first to reach the opposite exit hole (the pipes‘ length was 50-60 meters
approx) was Monastyrski. On breaking the seal with his body and running outside, he noticed entrance to
the other pipe on his right that was sealed with black screen with an inscription that said ―Break the seal
and get inside the pipe‖. After doing so (and smashing the screen against the pipe‘s floor) he rose and
moved forward. A few steps in darkness, and he stumbled upon Panitkov who was moving inside the pipe
from the opposite direction. The encounter was a total surprise for both.
20. FOR N.ALEXEEV
N.Alexeev, encountered by the action‘s participants and unaware of the action‘s nature, was brought to a
yard near metro station Sokoniki at noon. He was prompted to come into initial position, facing
A.Monastyrski 20 meters away from him. Then N.Alexeev was given instruction for his further actions
(see appendix).
After standing motionless for 5-7 minutes, his back upon N.A. who had already read the instruction, A.M.
set out for a random walk. N.A. followed him in the rear at a distance of 20 meters. Their goal was to
show up at 15:00 near metro station Preobrazhenskaya ploschad, meet other participants of the action and
proceed to its next phase. During these three hours A.M. was involved into a series of random improvised
actions (see narrations by A.M. and N.A.).
After reaching the designated location, A.M. and N.A who followed him were met by N.Panitkov. The
latter began to instruct N.A. on his further actions, pausing at different intervals in the course of reading
(see appendix). During Panitkov‘s reading A.M. hid from N.A. sight and instructed S.Romashko who was
standing nearby, also invisible to N.A. (see appendix). S.Romashko was also unaware of the action‘s
content and previous phases, i.e. A.M. and N.A.‘s travel.
Thus, S.Romashko and N.Alexeev (unaware of Romashko‘s following him) started according to their
instructions and finished the action at 16:10 near metro station Sokolniki (see narrations by S.R. and
N.A).
The invited guests were brought to a vast snowy field‘s verge. On snow‘s surface there was a piece of
