A primary intent <strong>of</strong> the AIA/CES program is the prevention <strong>of</strong> blatant self-promotion by the<br />

providers. Consequently, providers are instructed to only include company logo, name and<br />

contact information on specific introductory pages and this ending page.<br />

8.1.3 Program Evaluation<br />

This program was presented with the AIA/CES references omitted on three separate<br />

occasions for testing purposes, as further discussed in Chapter 10.<br />

The first occasion was to a group <strong>of</strong> executives representing a leading curtain wall firm. No<br />

written testing accompanied this presentation. The program was well received with positive<br />

and no negative comment. The general consensus was that there would be value in<br />

presenting the program to select architectural firms, with the probable result <strong>of</strong> new project<br />

creation. This was evidenced by the subsequent expressed intention by the Firm to make<br />
