11.4.5. Altitude. When cleared for the approach, maintain the last assigned altitude<br />

until established on a segment of the published routing or IAP. Once on the published<br />

routing or a segment on the IAP, do not descend below the minimum safe altitude for<br />

that segment. High altitude penetration descent may be initiated when abeam or past<br />

the IAF with a parallel or intercept heading to the course. The controller should assign
