Search results are returned in a Request Tree
display. The Request Tree is the primary mechanism
for viewing requests. This display helps the user to
visualize relationships between requests and view
the entire history or workflow pertaining to a
material for which services have been requested.
Test Details
The Test Details button opens a window containing
all available information for the selected request.
To view the details of a request:
1. Highlight the appropriate request in the
Request Tree.
2. Click Test Details.
Material On/Off
Detailed information about the material to which a
request pertains is accessible by using the Material
On/Off button.
Requests are grouped by material. After a search,
materials that match the search criteria or have
requests that match the search criteria are displayed.
If the search was based on material information, the
materials may not have requests associated with
them already. In the Request Tree, a "+" sign
appears to the left of the material or request
indicating more information is available if:
• there is a request associated with the material
• a request is super ordinate to another request
• there are results associated with the request
Expand All
The Expand All button will expand all materials
and requests containing subordinated information.
Contract All
The Contract All button will contract all expanded
materials and requests containing subordinated
information.
Clicking on Material On/Off will toggle the
Material Frame on and off for the currently selected
Material ID. The Material Frame, when activated,
appears in the left of the tree frame. All available
information for the material is displayed in the
frame including:
• Structure
• Molecular Weight
