Administrator To retire a User 1. Click Retire to the left of the user you want to retire. 2. Click OK to confirm. NOTE: When you retire a user in DLIMS, the Oracle user is also removed. As such, they will not be able to login to Oracle. If you wish to retire a user from DLIMS but maintain their Oracle log-in privileges for other applications, please contact your Oracle DBA. You cannot "unretire" a user once you have retired him or her, so use caution to make sure you intend to retire the user and you have selected the user you want to retire before proceeding. Setting Up Email Features The email feature will automatically send an email to the specified user each time an action or request is submitted. To set up the email feature: 1. Open the login.asp file. 2. Make sure that the following line: Application("MailHost") = "exchange.cambridgesoft.com" correctly points to a working mail host. 3. Find the line immediately following the above line, which says either: Session("PrimaryEmail") = "responder" OR Session("PrimaryEmail") = "manager" This line indicates which email should be used as the primary email for an action or request. That is, if the value of the line is responder, the responder's email address will be found in the TO: line of the email, and all other email address are found in the CC: line. If manager is the value of the line, manager is found in the TO: line and all other addresses in the CC: line. 4.
