Chapter 11 – Miscellaneous SpacesThe process of addressing HF issues for the Miscellaneous Spaces of theplatform is summarised in Figure 11-3. A range of factors is taken into account indefining requirements for, and specifying the layout of, miscellaneous spaces.These factors include crew tasks, traffic flow, environment, ship motion, safetyconsiderations, equipment fit and anthropometric data (body size) for personnel.The process of identifying and resolving <strong>HFI</strong> issues affecting MiscellaneousSpaces involves liaison between the <strong>HFI</strong> Focus and various stakeholders inconducting the <strong>HFI</strong> activities.
