<strong>2007</strong>-<strong>08</strong> – <strong>2017</strong>-<strong>18</strong> <strong>California</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Rail</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>Association of Governments, San Diego Association of Governments, and the<strong>State</strong> of <strong>California</strong>.ROUTE AND SERVICE DESCRIPTIONMetrolink presently operates 145 daily trains weekdays, serving 54 stations on thefollowing seven lines:Ventura County Line – Montalvo, Oxnard, Camarillo, Moorpark, Simi Valley,Chatsworth, Northridge, Van Nuys, Bob Hope Burbank Airport, Down<strong>to</strong>wnBurbank, Glendale, Los Angeles.Antelope Valley Line – Lancaster, Palmdale, Vincent Grade/Ac<strong>to</strong>n,Via Princessa, Santa Clarita, Newhall, Sylmar/San Fernando, Sun Valley,Down<strong>to</strong>wn Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles.San Bernardino Line – San Bernardino, Rial<strong>to</strong>, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga,Upland, Montclair, Claremont, Pomona (North), Covina, Baldwin Park, El Monte,Cal <strong>State</strong> L.A., Los Angeles.Riverside Line – Riverside, Pedley, East Ontario, Down<strong>to</strong>wn Pomona, Industry,Montebello/Commerce, Los Angeles.Orange County Line – Oceanside, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, LagunaNiguel/Mission Viejo, Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Orange, Anaheim, Fuller<strong>to</strong>n,Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, Commerce, Los Angeles.Inland Empire-Orange County Line – San Bernardino, Riverside Down<strong>to</strong>wn,Riverside La Sierra, West Corona, Anaheim Canyon, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin,Irvine, Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente,Oceanside.91 Line – Riverside Down<strong>to</strong>wn, Riverside La Sierra, West Corona, Fuller<strong>to</strong>n,Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles.The 55th station opened for service on the Orange County and 91 Lines inSeptember <strong>2007</strong>.Saturday and Sunday service is also operated on the San Bernardino, OrangeCounty and Inland Empire <strong>to</strong> Orange County Lines, and Saturday service is run onthe Antelope Valley Line. In September <strong>2007</strong>, Sunday service will also beprovided on the Antelope Valley Line. Most weekday trains operate during peakcommuting hours before 8:30 a.m. and after 3:30 p.m. Trains run on modifiedschedules on three holidays but are not run on four major holidays. Metrolink has512 route miles in its regional rail system. All Metrolink stations have ticketvending machines. Stations on the Metrolink routes are owned by the cities orregional transportation commissions, and 22,464 parking spaces are provided,most of which are free.144
