MUX initialization routine<br />

The MUX initialization routine initializes the die width and the die height of the MUX<br />

Stripe. The “ibm_mux_init.tcl” is used to initialize the MUX Stripe. The parameters used in the<br />

MUX Initialization routine are similar to the ALU initialization routine and are not repeated in<br />

this section again.<br />

MUX Floor plan/ Power plan routine<br />

The “ibm_setmuxmod.tcl” script is used to floorplan the MUX Stripe by placing the<br />

MUX modules within the core area.<br />

MUX Module Pin placement<br />

The “ibm_pinassign_mux_module.tcl” is used to place pins inside the MUX module.<br />

Table 5-8 describes some implementation specific parameters used in the routine.<br />
