MUX Stripe Pin Assignment<br />

The MUX Stripe is similar to the ALU Stripe and requires horizontal feedthroughs to route the<br />

control pins. Table 5-9 below shows the specifications of the feedthroughs used for the MUX<br />

Stripe. The ibm_pinassign_mux_stripe.tcl” is used to assign pins to the MUX Stripe. The<br />

parameters used in the script are described in Table 5-10 below.<br />

As the width of the MUX stripe is much less than the ALU stripe width, the number of<br />

horizontal feedthroughs is less in case of the MUX stripe. The routing of the control pins is done<br />

by selecting the nets using the “selectNet” command and then the routing is performed only on<br />

the selected nets.<br />
