I saw this personally.They started hitting and kicking and throwing things at the house doors,i.e. at the fences. There was shooting and forcible breaking into the housesbefore, but this action was huge.Naser Gjata was murdered the first day of the bombing and his uncle waswounded. His body stayed like that the whole day. I think it was necessaryto say this because this event preceded the others. I was scared to goback home and see what happened to my family and I believe that everybodyleft Podujevo. Maybe some 20 people - older Albanians - stayed in thetown. That was the reason why I could not go back and look for my familyin Podujevo. Tahiri father and son were murdered on 28 March 1999.I found out about that the same day around 12:00.
