Humanitarian Law CenterThe injured parties’ representative Nataša Kandić asked a question and thewitness said:“Commander Slobodan Medić told me on Monday when the previousmain hearing was scheduled that his brother Dragan “Gulja” would die injail in two days because he was sick. He told me, ‘Do this thing for me andwe will sit down at my place and we will pay it off. I know that you are nota traitor’. I told him, ‘I see how you trust me when you came here’ and hedid not want to enter the courtroom, but he stayed in front of the courtbuilding. When I came out of the court building, Medić did not see me. Iguess he did not expect me to get out so soon.”The injured parties’ representative asked another question and the witnessanswered:“On one occasion, I met Saša Cvjetan and Dejan Demirović in Novi Sad afterthey were released from detention. The two of them then said, ‘Bocaset us up. The police officers even asked us what the liquid that Boca usedwas.’ They told me something like, Inspectors talked to them only aboutBoca. They were saying that the two of them were victims, that Boca wantedonly Cvjetan to be liable for this because somebody had to be prosecuted.When somebody changes the clip that means that his rifle is empty orthat he does not have enough ammunition. I changed the clip when I hadonly ten bullets in it because I always liked to have my clip full. The clip isfull when it has 30 bullets.”No further questions.The defendant stated, “As for me, I believe that the witness is safe.
