In my opinion this house, that is, the courtyard I had entered,was some 200 to 300 metres from the crossroads where our buseshad been parked. I am saying that, when I heard the shooting, I was goingtoward the place the shooting could be heard from, going from thecourtyard and the courtyard with the corpses was, as I am showing hereon the sketch of the crime scene, on the same side of the Rahman Morinastreet between the perpendicular street and the building and the courtyardmarked five and six. When I left this courtyard, I believe I went out to theperpendicular street, the one where the buses were, as it was marked onthe sketch of the crime scene. As for the photo documentation, I am sayingit is possible that the ground floor house one can see on sketch No. 1in the photo documentation is the one in front of which the corpses werefound, that is, the corpses were located somehow to the left of the houseand not directly in front of it. On the photo No. 6 marked as the position ofa separate corpse in the courtyard of house No. 7 in Rahman Morina streetwhere one can see a corpse of a woman, I think that the corpse I had seenwas in this position. As for the photo No. 4 of the corpses in the courtyardof the house No. 7 in Rahman Morina street, I say that I cannot recogniseand cannot claim that those were the corpses which were piled up in thiscourtyard and which I had explained earlier.Since I was shown the difference from my statement given in the precedingtrial on 24 May 1999, I say that what I have said today at the main trialis correct as well as what I had stated at the main trial before the DistrictCourt in Prokuplje. I am sticking by the explanations I have already givenconcerning the differences in my statement given earlier and I am pointingout that even then I had told the investigative judge the same thing I havesaid today, but he had copied, into the minutes, the statement which I hadbeen given by the members of the Secretariat of the Interior.At the time of the events I am being asked about I did not know DejanDemirović.
