Podujevo 1999 – Beyond Reasonable Doubt33 Para 1 of the Law on the Weapons and Ammunition the defendant wascharged with.The following persons lodged appeals against this verdict:-Defence Counsellor ore Mamula, because of the serious violations ofthe criminal procedure, falsely and incorrectly determined factual background,and violation of criminal code with the proposal that the appealedverdict be dismissed and case returned to the court of the first instance forthe retrial and that he be informed, along with the defendant, about thesecond instance Trial Panel’s session;-Defence Counsellor ore Kalanj, because of the serious violation of thecriminal procedure provisions, violation of the criminal code, and falselyand incompletely determined factual background with the proposal thatthe appealed verdict be dismissed and case returned to the first instancecourt for the retrial and that he be informed, along with the defendant,about the second instance Trial Panel’s session;-Defence Counsellor Goran Rodić, because of the serious violation of thecriminal procedure provisions, violation of the criminal code, and falselyand incompletely determined factual background with the proposal thatthe appealed verdict be dismissed and case returned to the first instancecourt for the retrial and that he be informed, along with the defendant,about the second instance Trial Panel’s session;-Defence Counsellor Ilija Radulović, because of the serious violation of thecriminal procedure provisions, violation of the criminal code, and falselyand incompletely determined factual background with the proposal thatthe appealed verdict be dismissed and case returned to the first instancecourt for the retrial and that he be informed, along with the defendant,about the second instance Trial Panel’s session;-defendant Cvjetan Saša who challenged the verdict as illegitimate and illegalwith the proposal that the appealed verdict be dismissed and he beinformed about the second instance Trial Panel’s session.339
