2. Limit and control damage from noise, dust and moisture caused by surface preparation and burnishing.<br />

3. Comply with protective surface treatment manufacturer’s written instructions for substrate temperature and<br />

moisture content, ambient temperature and humidity, ventilation and other conditions affecting product<br />

performance.<br />

4. Coordinate application of protective surface treatment with the <strong>Walmart</strong> Construction Manager and<br />

<strong>Walmart</strong> Field Project Manager to ensure no foot traffic occurs prior to drying.<br />

5. Cure all replaced concrete a minimum of 28 days or to a point at which equipment can be put on the slab<br />

without displacing aggregate.<br />

6. Close finished slab area to traffic during application and after application for a time as recommended by<br />

manufacturer.<br />

C. <strong>Walmart</strong> Concrete Consultant:<br />

1. Structural Services, Inc. (SSI), (214) 522-6438.<br />

D. A technically qualified manufacturer's field representative of the densifier product shall be onsite during the<br />

initial application of the densifier and for occasional observations during remainder of the applications.<br />

E. The densifier representative shall ensure that the correct amount of densifier and protective treatment is onsite<br />

and in numbered containers prior to commencement of work.<br />

1.4 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING<br />

A. Dispense densifier and protective treatment finish material from factory numbered and sealed drums. Maintain<br />

record of drum numbers.<br />

1.5 WARRANTY<br />

A. Provide manufacturer’s standard warranty for replacement of defective densifier products.<br />

1.6 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING<br />

A. Comply with Wal-Mart approved schedule for sequence of operations for burnishing operations.<br />

B. Coordinate project phasing and relocation of racking, shelving, or merchandise with General Contractor to ensure<br />

minimum interference with other aspects of the Work. This may require Applicator to mobilize multiple times on<br />

a given project.<br />

C. Conduct burnishing work in manner to minimize disruption of Owner's normal operations. Work shall be<br />

performed after normal hours of operation and shall be completed (including cleanup) each day prior to start of<br />

normal store operations.<br />

D. Provide detailed written schedule for sequence of work to ensure uninterrupted progress of Owner's on-site<br />

operations.<br />
