3. <strong>No</strong>tify <strong>Walmart</strong> Concrete Consultant minimum 14 days prior to date and time when mockup will be performed<br />
and completed.<br />
4. Choose mockup location that demonstrates proposed range of aesthetic effects and workmanship.<br />
5. Obtain Wal-Mart Construction Manager’s approval of mockups before proceeding with work.<br />
6. Maintain mockups during construction in undisturbed condition as a standard for judging completed work.<br />
7. Approved mockups installed in sales areas may become part of the completed work if acceptable to Wal-<br />
Mart Construction Manager.<br />
E. Mandatory Pre-Installation Meeting:<br />
1. Plan, host, and attend a pre-installation meeting to be conducted at site by Wal-Mart Consultant via teleconference.<br />
2. Schedule pre-installation meeting with <strong>Walmart</strong> Concrete Consultant a minimum of14 days prior to first<br />
night of burnishing and after all submittals required herein have been submitted and approved by <strong>Walmart</strong><br />
Concrete Consultant or Architect of Record.<br />
3. Obtain pre-installation meeting agenda template from <strong>Walmart</strong> Concrete Consultant.<br />
4. Require responsible representatives of each party involved with the surface enhancement work to attend the<br />
pre-installation meeting. Representatives to be present shall include personnel who are directly involved in<br />
overseeing the work and who have authority to control the polishing work.<br />
5. <strong>No</strong>tify all required attendees in writing of scheduled time and place a minimum of 14 days in advance of<br />
pre-installation meeting. Include copy of agenda with invitation.<br />
6. The pre-installation meeting shall convene only when all parties are present.<br />
7. Minutes of the pre-installation meeting shall be recorded, typed, printed, and distributed to all parties concerned<br />
by the General Contractor within 5 days of the meeting. One copy of the minutes shall also be<br />
transmitted to the Owner's representative for information purposes.<br />
8. Attendees shall include, but not be limited to the following:<br />
a. Wal-Mart Construction Manager<br />
b. Wal-Mart Field Project Manager<br />
c. <strong>Walmart</strong> <strong>Store</strong>/Club Manager<br />
d. Wal-Mart Consultant<br />
e. General Contractor<br />
f. Project manager<br />
g. Superintendents<br />
h. Densifier manufacturer’s representative<br />
i. Densifier applicator and burnished floor surface installer.<br />
j. Joint Filler Applicator, if applicable<br />
k. Joint Filler Manufacturer, if applicable<br />
9. Changes to the contract documents from recommendations or discussions at the Pre-Installation meeting<br />
shall be approved in writing by the Wal-Mart Construction Manager prior to implementation. <strong>Walmart</strong><br />
Concrete Consultant is NOT authorized to change any specified requirement or to approve execution of any<br />
portion of the work.<br />
