SECTION 03931 – EXISTING INTERIOR CONCRETE SLAB SURFACE ENHANCEMENT
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 SUMMARY
A. Section Includes: Surface preparation, application of densifier and protective surface treatment and burnishing of
existing interior concrete floor slabs. Furnish all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to perform the
work in this section.

1.3 SUBMITTALS
A. Product data for:
1. Manufacturer and model of equipment to be used, including all types of burnishing pads and dust extraction
system.
2. Concrete liquid surface densifier and stain guard system.
3. Sprayer and sprayer tip for stain guard application.
4. Applicator pad for stain guard application.
5. Manufacturer and dilution rate of high pH cleaner.
B. Applicator’s Certifications:
1. Provide list of a minimum of 3 projects performed within last three years of similar type, size, and complexity.
Submit project names, addresses, contacts, and phone numbers for each project.
2. Applicator Qualifications: Submit letter of certification from manufacturers of all products and equipment
specified herein. Letter shall state that the applicator is a certified applicator of the system and is familiar
with proper procedures and installation methods as required by the manufacturer.
