MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
Program of Studies Leading to the A.A.S. Degree
This curriculum is designed to provide understanding of technical aspects of a particular
specialty — Real Estate Management. The program is career-oriented and allows direct entry
into the business community from two stages. The first stage allows the student to acquire
two basic courses to meet the credit requirements of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission
and sit for the Real Estate License examination for salespersons. Successful completion
of this stage allows the individual to enter the Real Estate business under the sponsorship of
a broker. Further study in the Real Estate Management Program allows the student to acquire
knowledge in all of the varied specialties of the Real Estate profession. Acquiring an additional
four courses in Real Estate allows the student to qualify for the 16 minimum credit
requirement to sit for the brokers licensing examination. With a sponsoring broker and three
years sales experience the student, upon passing the Real Estate Commissions brokers examination,
can now be licensed as a broker in the State of Pennsylvania. Completion of the other
courses in the Real Estate Management program qualifies the student for the Associate Degree
