TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT Program of Studies Leading to the A.A.S. Degree This curriculum is designed to prepare students with the skills and commitment necessary for a middle operation or management position in the tourist and travel industry. Recognizing that the individual trained only for the present state-of-the-art is soon dated, emphasis on the principles, philosophy, motivations and feasibility of the industry is stressed as well as the economic, social, political and environmental impacts of tourism.
