Program of Studies Leading to the A.S. Degree<br />

Transfer students must follow this programming in its entirety<br />

The International Business Program is introduced to acquaint the two-year student for a<br />

career in the widening field of international business. The need for personnel skilled in the<br />

export-import demands of modern business and in light of the current world events, the<br />

opportunities of offering a service of international trade is becoming increasingly important.<br />

<strong>Luzerne</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Community</strong> College will be offering the public a challenge in taking the<br />

initiative in reversing the export-import balance that currently exists in our gross national<br />

product. This type of undertaking will greatly improve the quality of education in the mechanics<br />

of everyday business as we meet the competition of international environment.<br />
