The International Business Program is introduced to acquaint the two-year student for a
career in the widening field of international business. The need for personnel skilled in the
export-import demands of modern business and in light of the current world events, the
opportunities of offering a service of international trade is becoming increasingly important.
Luzerne County Community College will be offering the public a challenge in taking the
initiative in reversing the export-import balance that currently exists in our gross national
product. This type of undertaking will greatly improve the quality of education in the mechanics
of everyday business as we meet the competition of international environment.
