This course, dealing with customer service skills, will cover techniques for building<br />
repeat and referral business through improved customer service. Topics will<br />
include: customer service management, the nature of customer relations, developing<br />
policies, hiring, training for superior service, analyzing and resolving complaints,<br />
telephone techniques, how to create excellence by exceeding customer expectations,<br />
in-person customer relations, understanding your customers, cross-selling and addon<br />
sales, and the legal side of customer service.<br />

MEI 132-Fabrication for Mobile Electronics 2 Lect., 2 Lab., 3 Sem.-Hrs.<br />
This course will introduce students to the various tools and fabrication materials<br />
used in the mobile electronics industry. Students will be exposed to woodworking<br />
fundamentals, cabinet construction, and door panel fabrication required for<br />
mobile electronics installation. Fiberglass working and molding, ABS plastic molding<br />
and shaping will also be covered.<br />

This course is designed to provide introductory instruction relevant to information,<br />
practices, and procedures utilized to perform basic maintenance, set-up and<br />
operation of machine tools. Emphasis will be on machining centers, milling machines,<br />
and lathes. Topics of coverage will include analysis of material, finish, accuracy,<br />
tooling, documentation, machine set-up and measurement proficiency.<br />
MST 101-Basic High Performance<br />
Engine Blueprinting 2 Lect., 2 Lab., 3 Sem.-Hrs.<br />
This course is designed to provide the student with the necessary basic knowledge<br />
needed to properly blueprint high performance engine components through<br />
the use of precision measuring tools, machining practices, and correct measuring procedures.<br />
Proper tool set-up of lathes, milling machines, balancing equipment, and<br />
other special tools, equipment, and procedures required for proper engine building.<br />
MST 102-Introduction to Motorsports 1 Sem.-Hr.<br />
This course is designed to give the student an overall view of the motorsports<br />
industry as a whole. Special emphasis will be placed on sanctioning bodies, rules<br />
and regulations, technical inspections, marketing sponsorship and public relations,<br />
and safety as they relate to motorsports.<br />
MST 103-Advanced High Performance<br />
Engine Blueprinting 2 Lect., 2 Lab., 3 Sem.-Hrs.<br />
This course is designed as a continuation of MST 101 to provide students with<br />
advanced engine blueprinting knowledge. Through the use of precision measuring<br />
tools and proper set-up and operation of milling machines, lathes, valve grinding<br />
equipment, surface grinding equipment, and balancing operations required for<br />
proper high performance engine building.<br />
MST 105-Fabrication/Welding I 2 Lect., 2 Lab., 3 Sem.-Hrs.<br />
This course is designed to provide the student with information related to various<br />
types of welding principles utilizing oxy-fuel, stick, mig, and tig welding procedures<br />
