Karyotype analysis → 15,XO
Gonadal (hormone replacement therapy)
o Estrogen :
- Should be started at early stages in low doses then gradually ↑ dose
over 1-2 years then maintenance ttt lifelong.
- It will promote development of 2ndry sex characters.
o Growth hormone :
- It may help in ↑ the hight of the child with Turner`s syndrome
although she has no GH deficiency.
Since the patient has no internal genitalia (gonads),FSH & LH have no role in ttt
سؤال ttt. of Turner`s syndrome. Also progesterone has no role in
Bicuspid aortic valve (15%) is the commonest cardiac abnormality in Turner`s
syndrome then coarctation of the aorta (5-10%).
