authorized.
Adds a note: “Note: The Unit Ball Cap is only authorized to be worn in
the members AOR if approved by the proper command and extends to
their duty area-including co-located units or extended duty (cutter tie up
at USCG ports). They are NOT allowed while on TDY.
This cap is not a seabag item and cannot be mandated for wear onboard
units.
CG funds will not be used to purchase Unit Ball Caps.”
Adds the description and related info for the Dark Blue crew neck undershirt.
“Description: A short sleeve cotton/polyester-blend T- shirt, USCG
dark blue with a crew neck and the words U. S. COAST GUARD
embroidered across the left front chest in 3/4-inch white block letters.”

Unit T-Shirts are not authorized for wear with CG uniforms.”
Added the terminal date for the ODU (tucked) Shirt. “The ODU (tucked) is
not authorized after 1 July 2012.”
Adds updated information regarding high heat conditions: “Note: During
high heat conditions, either outdoors or indoors, the temporary removal
of the ODU top is authorized for heat stress relief. This is a temporary
solution for the period that personnel are working in the hot climate. It
cannot be prescribed as the uniform of the day and is not authorized for
wear outside the workspace. The standard embroidered Coast Guard
Dark Blue Crew Neck T-shirt as listed in 3.C.2 must be worn and tucked
in at all times.”
Adds the note: “Unit T-Shirts are not authorized for wear with CG
uniforms.”
