3.G.4.A. MARKSMANSHIP BADGES

Marksmanship badges are worn centered 1/4 inch below the top of the left pocket flap.
When large medals are prescribed, badges will be worn immediately below the bottom
row of medals, so that only the medal line of each badge is visible. Badges will not be
worn with miniature medals. Marksmanship badges are worn with a maximum of three
in a single row and are arranged according to seniority from wearer's right to left. Only
the highest-ranking badge for a specific type of weapon may be worn at any one time.
The President's Hundred Award, a full-color embroidered tab of black 4 1/4 inches (10.80
cm) in length and 5/8 inch (1.59 cm) in height, with the word "President's Hundred"
centered in 1/4 inch (.64 cm) high white letters, is a badge awarded by the National Rifle
Association to the 100 top-scoring military and civilian shooters in the President's Pistol
and President's Rifle Matches.
The President's Hundred Award is worn on the left shoulder of enlisted uniforms.
3.G.4.B. MARKSMANSHIP RIBBONS
When ribbons are prescribed, personnel who have been awarded a Distinguished or
Excellence in Competition Award may wear the appropriate attachment, illustrated
below, on the appropriate marksmanship ribbon. The ribbons and the representative
attachments are:

the M1911A1 pistol worn centered on the
Coast Guard Pistol Ribbon.
