This cap is made of the same<br />

<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> blue material as the<br />

ODU with a rear hook and loop<br />

adjusting tab. Cap will have U. S.<br />

COAST GUARD embroidered in<br />

an arch across the front of the<br />

cap face in 1/2-inch gold “Block<br />

Caps”. The lettering will be<br />

placed on the hat to allow proper<br />

placement of the required rank<br />

insignia or CG device.<br />

Gold acorns and oak leaves (i.e.<br />

“Scrambled Eggs”) are no longer<br />

authorized.<br />

It should only be purchased from<br />

the UDC or CG Exchange<br />

systems.<br />
