Updates the Ball cap insignia placement: “All insignia will be centered on<br />

the front of the cap so as to not interfere with the lettering. Standard<br />

Ball Cap - Centered between the lettering and the bill of the cap. Unit<br />

Ball Cap - Centered between the lettering above and lettering below.”<br />

Adds: “Embroidered FWPII fabric rank device is” worn centered on the<br />

Velcro tab on the front of the coat.<br />

Insignia placement for E-4 – E-9 and MCPOCG for Foul Weather Parka II<br />

or the ODU Utility Jacket.<br />

Adds the word "Leading" with regards to Collar device placement.<br />

Updates photos of the enlisted non-rate marks.<br />

Adds the addition of the all-in-one patch for a designated E-1 to E-3. "The<br />

rating designator is placed on the left coat sleeve, centered directly above<br />

and on the seam of the non-rate mark or may be an all-in-one patch that<br />

has the two combined. Both are located in the same position. The<br />

combined patch can be carefully cut and sewn to fit E-1 to E-3."<br />

Clarifies the color of the chevrons and the background. “The color of the<br />

chevrons for E-4 through E-6 is scarlet with the background the same<br />

color as the jacket. Stripes worn on the Dinner Dress White Jacket have<br />

a white background with dark blue stripes. The color for the chevrons<br />

worn by E-7 through E-9 including the MCPOCG is gold with the<br />

background the same color as the jacket. “<br />

Clarifies the appropriate Rating badge for MCPOCG, Area, Command, and<br />

all others within the Command Chief network. MCPOCG and Area level<br />

Gold Badge Command Master Chiefs including the MCPO-CGRF will<br />

wear a gold shield with Gold stars as their rating badge. All other Gold<br />

Badge Command Master Chiefs will wear a sliver shield with silver stars<br />

as their rating badge. All other E-7 through E-9 will have a rating<br />

emblem placed between the eagle and the chevron(s) indicating the<br />

wearer’s specific rating.<br />

Updates the Dinner Dress Jackets as having their Rating badges placed on<br />

the outer side of the left sleeve. “The badge will be placed on the outer side<br />

of the left sleeve of the Service Dress Blue coat and both Dinner Dress<br />

Jackets.”<br />

Updates the information and photo regarding the ball cap changes for<br />

Enlisted members. “All insignia will be centered on the front of the cap<br />

so as to not interfere with the lettering. Standard Ball Cap - Centered<br />

between the lettering and the bill of the cap. Unit Ball Cap - Centered<br />

between the lettering above and lettering below.”<br />
