For the authorized Items will be:
military appearance:
Motorcycle Protective Gear All military motorcycle operators must wear Protective Gear at
all times while operating a motorcycle. All gear will be
removed immediately upon dismounting the motorcycle.
Tools (Including electronic Only as required for military duties when wearing ODU and
devices)
must not interfere with the proper fit of safety and protective
gear.
Political, Charitable, or Clothing accessories (pins, buttons, bracelets, banners, or
Fund Raising Items pennants) are not authorized on any military uniform;
Campaign clothing, caps, and/or hats are not authorized.
Eyewear Frame, lens, and contact lens styles will not be so outlandish as
to cause distraction from military bearing. Mirrored lenses are
prohibited. Retainer straps are authorized for foreign object
damage (FOD) prevention and safety only. If retainer straps are
required, they will be plain, black or blue and worn snugly
against the back of the head.
Security Lanyard and Badge Conservative in appearance; policy set by local command
reels
authority. Security reels must be worn above the waist.
