Service Aiguillette:<br />

During day to day activities, service<br />

aiguillettes will not be worn on the trench<br />

coat, reefer coat, windbreaker wolly pully<br />

or cardigan sweater. For official<br />

ceremonies occasions requiring special<br />

honors and formal social functions wear<br />

of the aiguillette of the trench coast, reefer coat, windbreaker, wolly pully or cardigan<br />

sweater is authorized. Service aiguillettes are worn with Service Dress, Tropical Blue<br />

and when authorized, the Winter Dress Blue Uniform. Service aiguillettes are not<br />

authorized to be worn on the Operational Dress Uniform (ODU). The cords will be<br />

bound together, lying flat, side-by-side, with a piece of gold lace and fitted with a clasp<br />

pin. Attach the clasp pin to the shoulder seam at the arm seam on the required side. The<br />

longest loop of the cords is worn on the inboard side closest to the wearer’s body.
