1. The coat will fit comfortably across<br />

the bust. There will be no binding<br />

around the armholes when arms are<br />

moved. The front collar, lapels, and<br />

flaps will present a smooth appearance.<br />

2. There will be sufficient looseness in<br />

the coat to permit a pinching of 2-4<br />

inches of material at the bust.<br />

3. Sleeve will fall 1 inch below bottom<br />

of wrist bone, covering shirtsleeve.<br />

4. Bottom edge of coat extends below<br />

crotch (approximately to tip of the<br />

thumb).<br />

5. Collar will fit closely at neck and<br />

smoothly at back. Shoulder padding<br />

should extend ½ inch beyond edge of<br />

shoulder seam.<br />

6. There will be sufficient looseness in<br />

the coat waist to permit a pinching of 2-4<br />

inches of material at the waist.<br />

7. The rise will allow 1 inch looseness<br />

to assure comfort and stride in normal<br />

movement.<br />

8. The hem will be marked ¼ inch<br />

above the front of the shoe and 1 ½<br />

inches below the top of the back of the<br />

shoe. The hem of the slacks will have a<br />

2-inch turn-up.
