1. The coat will fit comfortably across
the bust. There will be no binding
around the armholes when arms are
moved. The front collar, lapels, and
flaps will present a smooth appearance.
2. There will be sufficient looseness in
the coat to permit a pinching of 2-4
inches of material at the bust.
3. Sleeve will fall 1 inch below bottom
of wrist bone, covering shirtsleeve.
4. Bottom edge of coat extends below
crotch (approximately to tip of the
thumb).

5. Collar will fit closely at neck and
smoothly at back. Shoulder padding
should extend ½ inch beyond edge of
shoulder seam.
6. There will be sufficient looseness in
the coat waist to permit a pinching of 2-4
inches of material at the waist.
7. The rise will allow 1 inch looseness
to assure comfort and stride in normal
movement.
8. The hem will be marked ¼ inch
above the front of the shoe and 1 ½
inches below the top of the back of the
shoe. The hem of the slacks will have a
2-inch turn-up.
