Hinsichtlich des Maya Kalenders ist weiters wesentlich, daß er eine
zyklische Zeitdimension darstellt. In diesem Zusammenhang sind
auch die Ahnen von großer Wichtigkeit, welche, abgesehen von den
monotheistischen Religionen, meist eine große Bedeutung in
religiösen Ausdrucksformen haben. Leben und Tod werden hierbei
als komplementäre Elemente betrachtet, die einander bedingen und
die verstorbenen Ahnen sind in einer anderen Form weiterhin
präsent und Teil des großen Ganzen.

every time we eating something that comes from the earth, and the
earth has been nourished by the bodies, the chemicals, the bones,
the materials of the bodies of the death. So again there are inside
our bodies very physically. Spiritual as well, everything we learnt,
we learnt of society, which learnt of a course of generations, have
learnt trough the experience of everybody who has lived in the past.
And their teachings are still with us. Every time that someone is
born they don’t have to learn over again. They are physically,
emotional present. The Mayan’s speak with the dead, honouring
the dead... that means every day we should remember the dead, an
