Hinsichtlich des <strong>Maya</strong> Kalenders ist weiters wesentlich, daß er eine<br />
zyklische Zeitdimension darstellt. In diesem Zusammenhang sind<br />
auch die Ahnen von großer Wichtigkeit, welche, abgesehen von den<br />
monotheistischen Religionen, meist eine große Bedeutung in<br />
religiösen Ausdrucksformen haben. Leben <strong>und</strong> Tod werden hierbei<br />
als komplementäre Elemente betrachtet, die einander bedingen <strong>und</strong><br />
die verstorbenen Ahnen sind in einer anderen Form weiterhin<br />
präsent <strong>und</strong> Teil des großen Ganzen.<br />

related to time and the death. Nothing is born of nothing, everything<br />
need a beginning, nothing just appears, nothing just emerges.<br />
Which means we all a part again of the chain, of<br />
interconnectedness of the past and of the future. Physically that<br />
means that we have the DNS of our ancestors within our bodies.<br />
The ancestors are still alive, they are part of us. Other religions, I<br />
would again think in Christianity have the idea very often that when<br />
they die they go to heaven or hell, or purgatory and that’s it they<br />
have no play further role on earth. I don’t agree with that at all, they<br />
are with us physically in our bodies, they are physically with us<br />
every time we eating something that comes from the earth, and the<br />
earth has been nourished by the bodies, the chemicals, the bones,<br />
the materials of the bodies of the death. So again there are inside<br />
our bodies very physically. Spiritual as well, everything we learnt,<br />
we learnt of society, which learnt of a course of generations, have<br />
learnt trough the experience of everybody who has lived in the past.<br />
And their teachings are still with us. Every time that someone is<br />
born they don’t have to learn over again. They are physically,<br />
emotional present. The <strong>Maya</strong>n’s speak with the dead, honouring<br />
the dead... that means every day we should remember the dead, an<br />
