Students participating in this course are getting a thorough insight into cell culture engineering with a focus<br />
on cultivation technologies for <strong>an</strong>imal <strong>an</strong>d hum<strong>an</strong> cells. They will learn relev<strong>an</strong>t methods, get background<br />
information on cell lines, media, assays, cultivation methods, mathematical models <strong>an</strong>d regulatory<br />
requirements as well as practical demonstrations on validation of equipment <strong>an</strong>d in-process testing.<br />
