a. Set the APL Valve to 30 cmH 2 O.<br />
b. Connect the Y-fitting to the Test Port (see FIGURE 5-7)<br />
c. Connect a Pressure Meter between the Y-fitting and the AS3000 (use an adapter if<br />
necessary).<br />
d. Use the O 2 Flush Valve and O 2 Flow Meter to maintain pressure at 30.0 ±0.2<br />
cmH 2 O on the Pressure Meter.<br />
e. Select Continue to start calibration.<br />
f. Follow the on-screen instructions.<br />

1. Calibration<br />
a. Disconnect the plastic flaps from the Adult Test Lung (P/N 0138-00-0012) and<br />
connect it to the Y-fitting.<br />
b. Set the Fresh Gas flow to 0 mL/min.<br />
c. Press the O2 Flush Valve to fully fill bellows.<br />
d. Select Continue to start calibration.<br />
e. Follow the on-screen instructions.<br />
