23. Verify that the drive gas pressure loss alarm signals activate and N2O stops and AIR continues to flow.<br />

a. Set the O2 flow for 1 L/min.<br />

b. Set the N2O flow to 1 L/min.<br />

c. Set the AIR flow to 1 L/min.<br />

d. Disconnect the O2 line supply to the AS3000, and Close the O2 cylinder.<br />

e. Verify that the flow of N2O stops when O2 is lost.<br />

f. Verify that AIR continues to flow.<br />

g. Verify the “O2 Supply Failure” message appears on screen, a steady audio tone<br />

should sound.<br />

h. Reconnect O2 line pressure source to the AS3000.<br />

i. Verify that the alarms are reset.<br />

j. Verify N2O flow has resumed once O2 pressure returns.<br />

24. Verify that the battery operation and charging icons appears.<br />

a. Set the vent mode to Standby.<br />

b. Disconnect AC line cord.<br />

c. Verify that the battery icon appears on the screen and indicates the charge level of<br />

the battery.<br />

d. Verify that the line cord icon is flashing.<br />

e. Verify that the flow meter backlight is illuminated during battery operation.<br />

f. When the battery icon is in a not full state, reconnect the AC line cord.<br />

g. Verify that the battery charge icon appears on the screen.<br />

h. Verify that the flow meter backlight is illuminated during AC voltage operation.<br />

25. Verify operation of the work light.<br />

a. Turn on the work light located on the bottom side of the top panel.<br />

b. Verify that it lights in both on positions.<br />

26. Verify that the Auxiliary O 2 and AIR Flowmeters operates.<br />

a. Verify an AIR flow of 15 L/min can be obtained by connecting the auxiliary AIR hose<br />

to the pressure source and opening the flow meter.<br />

b. Verify an O 2 flow of 15 L/min can be obtained by connecting the auxiliary O 2 hose<br />

to the pressure source and opening the flow meter.<br />

27. Verify that the Suction Regulator operates in LINE and REGULATE<br />

positions.<br />

a. Set the suction regulator's selection dial to LINE.<br />

b. Verify maximum suction vacuum on the regulator's gauge.<br />

c. Set the suction regulator's selection dial to REGULATE.<br />

d. Verify the suction vacuum is adjustable on the regulator's gauge.<br />

e. Set the suction regulator's selection dial to OFF.<br />
