Tidal volume (T Vol.) compensates for variations in gas flow. This is to ensure that the set tidal<br />
volume is delivered to the patient.<br />

As the patient exhales tidal volume into the expiratory limb, fresh gas enters the bellows.<br />
Fresh gas mixes with exhaled gas after the Absorber removes CO 2 . Excess fresh gas passes<br />
through the exhaust valve to the AGSS<br />
