Making the effort to produce comprehensive plans which are easy to follow (e.g. use colour for cut/fill areas, extent of earthworks etc) will save time and money in processing the application. The information included in erosion and sediment control plans should correspond to the scale and significance of the proposal. Small–scale proposals having minor effects may supply sufficient information by drawing a sketch plan in the space provided. For more significant proposals, detailed plans should be drawn to show the erosion and sediment control measures intended for each stage of the proposal.
