Pod Sulejowem wyjątkową<br />
atrakcją jest zespół klasztorny,<br />
jeden z najcenniejszych<br />
obiektów tego typu w Polsce.<br />
Ufundowany w 1176 r., zaczęto go wznosić<br />
na początku XIII wieku (przed 1232 r.).<br />
W romańskim kościele zachowały się piękne<br />
portale, ślady pierwotnej polichromii oraz<br />
detale wykute w kamieniu. W kapitularzu<br />
działa muzeum, a w niegdysiejszych budynkach<br />
klasztornych hotel Podklasztorze.<br />
The Cistercian Abbey complex is a unique<br />
tourist attraction and one of the best<br />
preserved monastery complexes in Poland.<br />
The monastery was funded in 1176 and the<br />
building started in the beginning of 13th century<br />
(before 1232)This Romanesque church<br />
has preserved the original portals, polychromic<br />
and enthralling details engraved in<br />
stone. Today its Chapter House functions as<br />
the museum and underground monastery<br />
spaces are occupied by Podklasztorze Hotel.<br />
