The PVC materials must meet applicable ASTMspecifications and have NSF approvals.2. All fittings must be uniformly fiberglass-reinforced wherenecessary, or fusion-welded to equal the pressure rating ofthe scheduled pipe ratings. This applies to both sustainedand burst pressures as set forth by ASTM.3. Fittings must be made of the same wall thickness as the pipe.4. The wall thickness loss cannot exceed 10% in the fittingmanufacturing process. This applies to any and all areas ofthe fitting.5. There can be a maximum of 5% loss of inside diameter inthe production of bends and elbows.6. All sockets must be tapered to ensure ease of installationand a resulting tight fit.7.
