HOSE & TUBING INSERT FITTINGSFEATURES• Single-barbed fittings are constructed so that the molded-inparting line stops at the base of the barb.• The ridge and conical surface are free of the molded-in leakpath, and the conical surface on the single-barbed fitting issmooth and glass-like for excellent sealing.• By clamping the relaxed hose behind barb you can force theclamp to work like a drawstring, forcing the hose diameter tobecome smaller than the barb flare. If the tubing swells frominternal pressure (near burst), the clamp will pull up tight to theback of barb and the seal will be maintained.• When the clamps are placed over the single-barbed fitting*,the exclusive anti-rotation device (patent pending) preventsthe tubing from becoming freed by any type of twistingmotion.• Fittings are not designed for use with clamps in 1/16” through3/16” tube sizes.APPLICATIONS• Perfect for higher working pressures or more corrosiveliquids.ACCESSORY ITEMS• Snapper plastic hose clamps also available.
