PLAST-O-MATIC ELECTRICSOLENOID VALVESPILOT-OPERATED SOLENOID VALVESWITH PTFE TEFLON BELLOWSFEATURES• These normally-closed in-line solenoid valves feature bubble-tight shutoff, and arerecommended for corrosive and ultra-pure liquids in high-flow or high-pressureapplications, but not for vacuum service.• Provides a positive valve closure in the event of an electrical failure.• The valves utilize a Teflon bellows barrier type seal.• Available from 1/2” to 3” NPT, with inlet pressure ranges from 5 PSI minimum (5 PSIminimum differential required to open valve) to 140 PSI maximum. The maximumback pressure is 70 PSI. Both flow and pressure are required for pilot assistance innormal valve operation.• The valve bodies are Type 1, Grade 1 PVC. Polypropylene, CPVC and PVDF alsoavailable. The standard seals are Viton, EPDM also available. Watertight, dusttight,NEMA 4X standard.• The valves are operated by 11 W, 120 VAC coils, made in accordance with U/Linsulation standards. The coils can be energized continuously without danger ofoverheating or failure; they will, however, reach very high temperatures.
