Its unique, lightweight designallows easy installation and provides a low-cost, corrosionfree,clean-running system.The Air-Pro components are made of high-density polyethylenecapable of handling operating pressures to 230 psi with a safetyfactor of 2.2. HDPE is extremely ductile but not brittle, allowingfor a safe and maintenance-free system. Air-Pro is chemicallyresistant to harsh environments, and to synthetic and mineraloils from compressor units. The system is color-coded blue forcompressed air.Proweld ® socket-fusion equipment is recommended for joiningthe Air-Pro system, in order to eliminate the high cost ofcopper installations and brazing expertise. Transition fittingsare provided to thread Air-Pro pipe to equipment, as well asto plastic or metal valves.
