Push the tubestraight into fitting until itbottoms on the fitting’sshoulder. Tighten nut byhand. Additional tighteningshould not be necessary,but 1/4 additional turnmay be added if desired.Do not overtighten nutas the threads will stripand the fitting will notfunction properly. A properassembly will not show theinsertion mark extendingbeyond the nut. If theinsertion mark is visible,then steps 1 thru 4 mustbe repeated.Step 5When using clear vinyltubing or urethane tubing,it is necessary to use atube support found onpage 84. Disassemble thefitting and place the nut,grab ring, spacer and tubesupport, in that order, onthe tube. Locate the grabring at the insertion markas shown. Seat the O-ringin the body, then proceedwith Step 4.1-800-848-1141www.rhfs.com85
