SAF-T-FLO CHEMICALINJECTION ASSEMBLYHEAVY-DUTY FOR MUNICIPAL WATER &WASTEWATER CHEMICAL FEED SYSTEMSFEATURES• 3/8” solution tube with 3/4” corp stop.• PVC/ Hastelloy-C/ Teflon/ Viton wetted materials.• Six inch length standard.• Safely transfers a variety of water treatment chemicals.• Stainless Steel safety chain.• Max. pressure: 150 psi.• Rated 3-5 GPM flow.• The Saf-T-Flo heavy-duty chemical injection assembly allows systemoperators to insert or remove the solution tube from the water main withoutshutdown. The units are designed for safety and reliability.• A 3/4” heavy-duty brass corporation stop connects the assembly tothe water main. The solution tube is held securely to the corp stop by aStainless Steel safety lock and Stainless Steel safety chain.• Saf-T-Check is a spring operated ball check valve that is attached to thesolution tube at the discharge line. This valve prevents pressure from thewater main from entering the chemical feed system.• Saf-T-Seal is a specially designed elastomeric check valve that is attachedto the top of the solution tube. This valve eliminates tip clogging. It alsoprevents pressure from the water main from entering the chemical feedsystem. Since system backpressure is eliminated, metering pumps runmore efficiently and use less energy.• Chemical feed compatibility with sodium hypochlorite, caustic soda,ammonium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, ferric chloride, hydrofluoric acid, andzinc chloride.ALSO AVAILABLECHEMICAL INJECTION NOZZLESChemical injection nozzles alsoavailable.
